2025 Chongqing International Auto Exhibition: A Grand Showcase Where Tradition Meets Innovation

From June 7th to 15th, 2025, the 27th Chongqing International Automobile Exhibition was grandly held at the Chongqing International Expo Center. Themed "Intelligent Journey, Leading the Future," this highly anticipated automotive extravaganza attracted over 100 mainstream global automotive brands and more than 1,000 models, with a total exhibition area of 160,000 square meters. Geely Automobile: Intelligence and Luxury Combined

Geely Automobile showcased a variety of classic models at the show. The Xingyue, with its luxurious interior and powerful 2.0T engine, has become a popular choice in the family SUV market. The Boyue L, with its imposing appearance and exceptional performance, was one of the focal points on the booth. The Xingyue L Extended-Range Electric Version offers consumers more travel options with its unique extended-range electric technology. Meanwhile, Geely's latest achievements in intelligent driving and smart cockpits were also fully displayed on the booth, fueling consumers' anticipation for Geely's future development.

- Geely Monjaro Intelligent Engine Version: Equipped with the latest hybrid technology, it boasts lower fuel consumption and stronger power. The interior's sense of luxury rivals that of high-end brands, leaving overseas customers exclaiming, "Amazing!"

-Geely BoYue Cool: Tailored for the young market, it features an aggressive front face and a smart cockpit, offering extremely high cost-performance.

Changan Automobile: Blue Whale Power, Racing Globally

As a significant local automaker in Chongqing, Changan Automobile brought its Changan Qi Yuan, Shenlan Automobile, and Avid brands to form a dedicated Changan booth. The Changan Qi Yuan Q07, with its fashionable appearance and advanced smart technology, caught many eyes. The fourth-generation CS75 PLUS Ultra, a classic star product, also shone brightly on the stage. Moreover, Changan displayed innovative technologies like the "Golden Bell Full Solid-State Battery" and future mobility concepts such as flying cars, offering a glimpse into the future of automotive development.

- CS75 PLUS Glory Edition: The classic SUV has been upgraded with a 2.0T Blue Whale engine and high-level intelligent driving, becoming a new favorite in African and South American markets.

- UNI-V Track Edition: With its coupe styling and adjustable exhaust roar, one customer, after a test drive, remarked, "This car is more stylish than a BMW!"

Toyota Motor: Reliable and Globally Popular

Toyota showcased a range of classic models at the show. The Corolla, with its outstanding fuel economy and reliable quality, became one of the hot models on the booth. The Highlander, with its spacious interior and powerful performance, attracted the attention of many family consumers.

- RAV4 Adventure Edition: Tailored for outdoor enthusiasts, it features light off-road kits and all-terrain modes, loved by Middle Eastern tycoons.

- Camry Smart Flagship Edition: Built on the TNGA architecture with a hybrid system, customers in North America and Australia gave it a thumbs-up, saying, "This is a reliable ride!"

MG Motor: British Sports, Gaining Global Fans

MG Motor, with its fashionable design and outstanding performance, shone brightly at the show. The MG7, with its dynamic appearance and powerful performance, was one of the focal points. Additionally, MG showcased its latest achievements in smart cockpits, such as large touchscreens and a wealth of intelligent connectivity features, fueling consumers' anticipation for MG's future development.

- MG7 Black Label Edition: With frameless doors and a three-section rear wing, British media exclaimed, "Chinese sports cars have surpassed European ones!"

- MG5 Passion Edition: Equipped with a 1.5T engine and sporty exhaust, it's a favorite among young customers. One young man from South America even danced a samba to celebrate his car purchase on the spot!

Volkswagen: German Quality, Timeless Heritage

Volkswagen brought a range of classic models to the show. The Lavida, with its imposing appearance and exceptional performance, was one of the hot models on the booth. The Tiguan L, with its spacious interior and powerful performance, attracted many consumers.

- VW T-ROC: A compact SUV that combines sporty and fashionable styles. It offers two power versions, 1.4T and 1.5T, both matched with a 7-speed dry dual-clutch transmission. The 1.4T engine has a maximum horsepower of 150 and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. The WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is 6.4L/100km, and the 0-100km/h acceleration time is 9.5 seconds. This power combination not only ensures sufficient horsepower but also achieves efficient power transmission.

- VW Golf: The interior treatment of Golf is more thoughtful, adopting a wrap around cockpit layout and advanced infotainment system, providing a more comfortable and technological riding experience. The seats are made of a mixture of leather and woven materials, with some features such as sensor wipers, automatic headlight folding, and automatic air conditioning, showcasing their texture and comfort.

Great Wall Motor: Off-Road Toughness, Global Leadership

Great Wall Motor, as a leader in the domestic SUV market, has always won consumers' favor with its outstanding design, reliable quality, and rich configurations. In the traditional fuel vehicle sector, Great Wall has launched several popular models.

- Great Wall Dragon Fuel Version: Equipped with a 2.0T engine, it has a maximum output power of 175 kW and a maximum torque of 385 Nm. It is matched with the world's first transverse 9DCT wet dual-clutch transmission. This power combination not only ensures strong power output but also achieves efficient power transmission. The official 0-100 km/h acceleration time is just 8.1 seconds, and the WLTC working condition 100 km comprehensive fuel consumption is 8.65 liters.

- Great Wall H5: Available in two options, 2.0T gasoline and diesel versions. The gasoline version offers strong power and rapid acceleration, suitable for urban roads and suburban driving; the diesel version excels in fuel economy, making it ideal for long-distance travel and commercial use.

Conclusion

The 27th Chongqing International Auto Show received strong support from the Chongqing municipal government, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade's automotive division, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, and other relevant departments and organizations. It also offered generous incentives to car buyers. Not only were there million-yuan car purchase subsidies and lottery draws, but also collaborations with 12 major consumer categories, 96 brands, and 2,205 offline stores to offer post-market promotions and discounts for car maintenance, energy replenishment, financing, and travel.

Through this show, we established cooperative relationships with several international dealers and signed multiple cooperation agreements. We also reached preliminary intentions with some potential customers, laying a solid foundation for future business expansion.
